The book with the sun, representing LIGHT, symbolic of KNOWLEDGE, reinforces the idea of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD and Mother Teresa represents CHARITY.
Thus, this logo reflects the very spirit of Mother Teresa by incorporating three cardinal virtues of humanity i.e. LOVE, BROTHERHOOD & CHARITY.
About the Institution
Sponsored by Mother Teresa Memorial Education Trust Mangaluru, founded by the dynamic duo of lady entrepreneurs, Ms. Renita Lobo & Ms. Shamitha Rao, who have proved their credentials in the educational sector by founding & fostering the Mother Teresa Memorial School (LKG to 10th STD) in the predominantly rural part of Shankarnarayana, the nascent P.U College aims at imparting quality science and commerce education, right values and principles to the rural youth to mould them into exemplary citizens of tomorrow.
The institution is established primarily to meet the educational needs of those deprived of quality education with the aim to spare the children & youth from the daily hassle of commuting to and from cities. It is open for everyone, irrespective of religion, caste and creed.
Our Objectives
- To provide good education to train pupils, for the world of tomorrow, imbued with the zeal and spirit of service following the ideals of “Mother Teresa”.
- To develop the whole person (body, mind and spirit) of the pupils in an environment of independence and personal responsibility.

- To guide the pupils to realize the presence of God within themselves and others by teaching them to pray and follow the words of god.
- To lead the humanity from untruth to truth, darkness to light and from mortality to immortality.
